Ordering goods

The customer can order the goods in several different ways. The customer can register, then place the goods in the basket and send the order or without prior registration (the customer will be automatically registered after sending the order, then we will send the customer login details to the email so that he can use them for further purchase).

The prices of goods are always listed for individual items and are valid at the time of ordering.

The order is a draft purchase contract and is concluded by payment and acceptance of the ordered goods. By sending the order the customer agrees to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are valid for all purchase contracts concluded between the seller and the customer. The Seller reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. The amended terms and conditions will be posted at least one day before they take effect.

Delivery time

The ordered goods will be delivered as soon as possible according to their availability and the seller's operational possibilities. The goods shall be deemed to be delivered upon receipt by the customer or upon expiry of the time specified for collection of the ordered goods. That is to say, the two following working days from the day designated for collection.

Method of payment of the price of the goods and acceptance

The customer pays the purchase price via an internet payment gateway (3D-Secure security, HTTPS protocol).

The following payment cards are accepted: VISA Electron, VISA, Maestro, MasterCard.

Receipt of goods

Collection of the goods takes place at the dealer's shop at the time specified in the order on the website. We recommend that you inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. Later claims of this nature will not be taken into account.

Order cancellation

Both the customer and the seller may cancel the order without giving any reason until the goods are received. If the seller cancels the order, he will usually state the reason why the order cannot be processed.

Withdrawal from the order and refund of part or all of the purchase price

From the moment the order is concluded, the contract can be withdrawn in accordance with § 1829 of the Civil Code. It is possible to withdraw without giving a reason, but it is necessary to observe a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt. Withdrawal from the contract is not possible in cases of perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life. These are goods which are normally marked with an expiry or use-by date and goods which have been irretrievably mixed with other goods after delivery and cannot therefore be effectively returned.

In case of a valid withdrawal from the contract, the price of the goods will be refunded immediately or within 14 days of the proper return of the goods to the premises, in cash on the spot or to the bank account from which the purchase price of the goods was paid.

Warranty and Complaint Policy

All goods are always labelled to show their minimum shelf life and are always delivered to the customer in the first half of the expiry date, unless otherwise stated.

In the event of a complaint, the customer must report the matter in advance by e-mail to pavilon@af.czu.cz. Subsequently, he is obliged to deliver the claimed goods to the address of the premises of the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague, Sídlištní 1368/7, 165 00, Prague - Suchdol (Food pavilion - FAPPZ building - F).

Returned goods must be packed in the original packaging or in an alternative suitable transport packaging.

In the event of an unjustified claim, the customer is not entitled to compensation for his costs associated with the settlement of the claim, nor is the seller entitled to compensation for the costs incurred on his side.

In the event of a legitimate claim, the customer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the goods. The refund of the purchase price or part thereof shall be made within 14 days of the justified complaint, to the bank account from which the purchase price of the goods was paid.

A claim cannot be made if the minimum shelf life of the goods itself has expired.

Dispute Resolution

The operation of the online shop is governed by the law of the Czech Republic.

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, or it is possible to resolve a dispute via e-mail pavilon@af.czu.cz.

The resolution of any disputes shall be fully within the jurisdiction of the court of the Czech Republic, which is locally competent according to the registered office of the seller.

If you have a complaint, you can contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, the state supervisory authority for consumer protection. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority supervises compliance with the obligations under Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended.
